For years, Emily and Liz have provided consulting services to members of their library, and increasingly in recent years, for others around the world. A Delectable Education now offers this service if you also desire a personalized homeschool curriculum based on Charlotte Mason’s principles and practices. Whether you need help choosing living books and developing a curriculum plan for your family, would like help in any particular school subject areas, have questions regarding scheduling your day for children of varying levels and abilities, or need guidance or encouragement, A Delectable Education is available to serve you with private one-on-one consultation. The ADE Team has a wealth of experience and wisdom gained from their own pursuit of a Charlotte Mason education, extensive knowledge about living books, and compassionate hearts from having struggled to figure things out themselves.

Typically, during a consultation, Liz will spend 1-2 hours on the phone with you, discussing how to implement each subject and combine your students as needed, answering your questions and providing help and encouragement where needed. After the call, Emily will work up an individual curriculum plan, including book recommendations. You will then receive an invoice for any remaining time beyond the first pre-paid hour that we’ve spent on the phone and developing your plan. Our fee is $60 for the first hour (pre-paid at the time of reserving your appointment), and $30 per half hour after that (for the remaining time, if any, on the phone and developing your plan), billed upon completion of your plan. Please note that the process for booking a consultation has changed, please read the following carefully:

To reserve an appointment, please choose one of the following options. Upon completion of your purchase, you will receive an email confirmation with a link to fill out important background information that will help us prepare for your consultation. Once that is submitted you will be directed to the calendar to book your appointment. It is your responsibility to secure an appointment through this link once you’ve paid your deposit, and for new clients, that may mean checking back at the beginning of each calendar quarter. Please note: Deposits are only refundable for 7 days after purchase. All deposits made will be applied to an appointment within 12 months of payment.

If you secure an appointment you agree to pay the remaining balance for any time beyond the pre-paid first hour spent on the phone and in developing your curriculum plan off the phone; this must be paid within 7 days of your invoice.

Due to the high demand for our consulting services, if you become aware of the need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you kindly do so as soon as possible via the link in your calendar confirmation email as many people are waiting to receive an appointment. Thank you!

**Update 3/25/24: Currently we are booked through June 30th for New Clients (Returning Clients may book for the entire year at this time); we have closed new client applications at this time and we will re-open those on June 1st.
